Dido’s recent paintings reflect her continued interest in odd close-up views; in this exhibition, objects seen from above, below and cropped are taken from her house and evoke intense associations prompted by living spaces empty of human presence. Narrative has also inspired the ‘Victorian’ series, reflecting on Victorian ideals and cultural standards.
