The paintings are dealing with how our physical & emotional relationships are expressed by movement & body language & creating an ambiguity as to whether they are benign or malgn.

Informed by the draughtsmanship, & the humane & redemptive qualities of the renaissance, as well as the rhythm & energy of abstract expressionism. The work is trying to show however we interconnect with each other we remain ultimately alone.
